Morgan's new classes

How can it be that Thanksgiving is less than a week away?  There is still Halloween candy in the bowl and yet Christmas and Morgan's birthday are only 5 weeks away.  The soccer season is over now, but Morgan has started a new art class and violin lessons! Auntie brought up the violin that Philip and Angelina used, and Morgan is excited to learn. So far he's had two lessons and enjoys the lessons but complains a little about practicing. :)

Last weekend we went to Thea and Theo's 50th anniversary party, which was fun and had tons of great food. Here's a photo of the beautiful cake:



School has been inconsistent for Morgan recently. Last week there was no school on Tuesday and Friday, and this week his teacher announced she would be out for jury duty for two weeks! Now I'm really glad that I decided to take him out of school to go down to Shelton early for Thanksgiving, because his teacher won't be there and it seems like not much happens when they have a sub.
